Cancer medical fun help

I am a 64 year old retired school teacher who was diagnosed with cancer 2 weeks ago. I have no health insurance. I did buy a supplemental cancer policy when I lost my insurance 2 years ago and am waiting on them to either honor my claim or deny it. I will be eligible for Medicare on April 1, 2021. I will also be applying for insurance through the ACA for 2021 to help cover the bills until Medicare kicks in. I am looking at a major surgery to remove lymph nodes from my neck and also to remove a growth on the back of my head. Even after this I will need radiation therapy so I figure I am in for a long and hard fight. It is not one I intend to lose. I have always been the kind of person who pays their bills and not stiff anyone. In fact back in the late 70's I owed a doctor $500 dollars and I paid him $10 every two weeks until it was paid off. Believe me when I say that this is a last resort. I just don't know what else to do. That being said I do not want someone to give me even $1 if you can't afford it. If you can I would be very, very appreciative .
