Sharon is a 45 year old mother of twin boys, Kai & Kalen, aged 9 years, and is married to Eugene.
Sharon was diagnosed with a grade 3 stage 3 breast cancer in January, 2016. This launched her and her family on a new and uncharted trajectory in life, the battle for survival. Sharon has had to navigate many various procedures and treatments involving:
- left mastectomy (January 2016)
- Portcath in (February 2016)
- 16 rounds of chemotherapy
- 25 rounds radio therapy
-DVT December 2016 with Portacath out
- Right mastectomy (July 2017)
- Hysterectomy (November 2017)
On the Christmas holidays, 2017, Sharon and the boys came to visit for a day of swimming and fun. We began planning to hold a “Cancer free party”. This thought was so exciting as Sharon had come out the other side of the tunnel and into the light! Her sojourn through the laborynth of fear, pain, anguish and uncertainty that she encountered was over at last! She had reached the place of endless possibilities, where Hope resides...
So when Sharon messaged me that she had found another lump in her chest, and it was a grade 3, stage 4 cancer (aggressive & incurable), there are no words to express the devestation felt.
So, the journey continues, & as her friends and family gather alongside Sharon to hold her hand as she navigates this uncertainty once again, we have made this page on her behalf...
It is Sharon’s desire to attend the “Living Valley Health Retreat “ on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, which offers a variety of clean eating & living programs, Wellness for mind and body therapies & counselors to guide her through the mayhem.
Please join us to make this a reality for our beloved friend. Our aim is to raise enough money to send her for an ultimate package!
