Cancer Care for Char

On September 18th our mother, Char Taber, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroendocrine Cancer. This aggressive, fast spreading cancer has already impacted her liver and several bones throughout her body. Her liver is currently three times the normal size, which has resulted in severe pain. Doctors are trying to keep her comfortable with medication, but are hoping Chemotherapy will reduce the swelling and how fast the cancer is spreading. She will have her first Chemo treatment on Monday, September 23rd.
Due to how aggressive the cancer is, she is unable to return to work. We do not want her to have any financial burden through her battle, so we are asking family and friends to donate if they can. Donations will be used to help with monthly living expenses, medical bills/copays, traveling expenses, and any other supportive care she needs.
Our family has an amazing support system and we appreciate everyone who has reached out. Please continue to keep our mom in your prayers. She is a strong woman and we know she will give everything she has to fight this.
