[Who I Am]
Hello, my name is Chris Kaji and I am 19 years old. I am a Men's Artistic Gymnast and compete at the highest level of gymnastics.
Claiming the rings title at Elite Canada and Canadian Nationals 2 years in succession, I am the defending Canadian champion. In the last two years, I have represented Canada in Colombia, Hungary, France and Slovenia.
[World Cups in Germany]
I have been assigned to a World Cups in Germany this November. Hungary, France and Slovenia have all been “World Challenge Cup” events while this upcoming event in Germany is a “World Cup” event, which means athletes of the highest level including accomplished Olympians.

[Training and Finance]
My parents have been generous enough to fully support me with all the expenses this sport has thrown our way and I am forever grateful. I turned 19 this year and am striving to push through financial struggles myself.
I currently coach around 20 hours a week and train over 24 hours. Being recognized as a high level athlete, I have earned partial funding through Sports Canada which is a huge help, but I am still seeking help to pay my way through this upcoming World Cups in Germany.
With your help, I would be able to attain the quality training I hope to receive to maintain my ranking amongst the top gymnasts of Canada.

J’ai eu la chance d’avoir des parents généreux. Ils m’ont soutenu pleinement avec toutes les dépenses que ce sport réclame et je leur suis toujours reconnaissant.
J'ai eu 19 ans cette année et je m'efforce de surmonter les difficultés financières moi-même. J'entraîne actuellement environ 20 heures par semaine et je travaille plus de 24 heures. (Is it better to tell the age of the persons you are teaching?)
Reconnu comme un athlète de haut niveau, j'ai obtenu un financement partiel de Sports Canada, ce qui est une aide précieuse, mais je cherche toujours de l'aide pour payer mon chemin lors de la prochaine épreuve de la Sélection Olympique en Allemagne. Avec votre aide, je pourrais bénéficier d’un entraînement de qualité me permettant de maintenir mon rang parmi les meilleurs gymnastes du Canada.
