Can You Please Help Us To Beat Cancer.

First of all, our heartfelt thanks for clicking on and reading this. It is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. My beautiful wife Alison has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer which has already spread to her liver.

Pancreatic cancer is symptomless until it’s been diagnosed, and by that time it’s too late to be cured by conventional methods, so we had no warning of what is upon us now. From a visit to the GP with suspected gastritis, with tests and then more tests and only 6 weeks from that initial visit, the diagnosis that not only is it stage 4 cancer but also the most aggressive to treat, with only a 1 in 4 chance of the strongest chemotherapy working to shrink the tumor.

We of course, and in that the whole family and circle of close friends, are naturally devastated, but immediately developed a positive outlook for recovery. Having researched alternative treatments we found a private clinic whose ethos is “Cancer is not a death sentence”. The clinic adopts a strategy of using various therapies along with natural substances to treat the cause and source (tumor) unlike the toxic chemicals that form chemotherapy, which wipes out the body’s natural defences and immune system, along with the horrific side effects that the chemicals bring.

Of course, nothing in life is guaranteed. It’s a scary concept to go against conventional pathways, but who’s not to say that this alternative method may be the conventional treatment of the future! We feel this is the best way for the successful outcome for Alison’s recovery give the options open to us at this moment in time.

As you can imagine this treatment comes at a hefty price around £4k a month for the initial 6-month plan. You can’t put a price on a human life and we will of course find a way to make this work with our own limited resources.
