Hey everybody, as you know my name is Camron Arnold, some of you may know my story , the ones that do know that the last five years have been a challenge for me, on the 20th of November in 2018 at a factory I had been working hard at , a young man had a mishap with a forklift and that accident took my left leg. Instead of laying down and letting it defeat me, I decided I was going to do something that mattered, using the proceeds from said accident, before I even received my prosthetic leg I started building my dream home, the house at the time was just a small double wide with many problems, but thanks to the help of my family and friends, we slowly ripped it down to nothing but studs, and with two years of solid hard work, we had turned it into a home! I continued to tweak and upgrade and turn everything into the best it could be until about 4 weeks ago, when I was officially finished. We have been in the market for homeowners insurance looking around for the best prices, unfortunately we were too late, when three nights ago during terrible weather, We Believe a squirrel or some other rodent made a nest in between the garage and the home unfortunately this was the one location that we had not removed and replaced, we believe this animal made a home on what was the original electrical wiring in the old house, the destruction that was started from that incident destroyed not only my shop which I turned into a small business, but it also consumed my home, along with our personal belongings and even worse, all of of my cash savings. Me , my girlfriend, my animals , and our friend escaped with our lives, but that's all we escaped with. We are now homeless staying in my mother's living room until we can find some housing while we rebuild our lives.we live at 6337 old state road natural bridge NY 13665, the home is completely destroyed. I'm raising the funds to rebuild this house or build a new home in it's place. This community has always been close and cared for each other when times got tough, we're now hoping that you will all pull together the same way for us, we have the ambition and the hope, to rebuild. But unfortunately we do not have the funds, we're asking that you help, anyway you'd like to would make the world of difference to us, we're looking to rebuild this home which means it's not going to be easy, but we're hoping that the community will come together to help donate anything from Capital to helping rebuild, supplies to use to rebuild, support helping build it, but anything you would be willing to offer could mean we could have our home back.
