Help CLIC Understand Why Kids Get Cancer

Worldwide, over 400,000 children develop cancer each year. It is devastating for them and their families. In most of these cases the cause is unknown. Without knowing what causes childhood cancer, we cannot prevent it. This is where the Childhood Cancer and Leukemia International Consortium (CLIC; www.clic.ngo ) comes in. CLIC is the largest organization in the world dedicated to understanding why kids get cancer.
CLIC’s researchers combine data from studies on six continents to discover the genetic and environmental causes of cancer among children. Until now, CLIC has relied mostly on volunteer effort, but with sufficient funding, CLIC could more quickly discover why kids get cancer. CLIC needs support to round up and analyze the complex data from childhood cancer studies that are scattered across the globe.
In 2020, the CLIC Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charity in the United States, was created to help fund CLIC’s research efforts. From International Childhood Cancer Day (February 15, 2021) through the end of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (September 30, 2021), we are raising money for CLIC.
Will you please help us achieve CLIC’s mission to answer the question, “Why do kids get cancer?” A donation of any size will make a difference.
