*Can you help get Sofia moving!*

Sofia is a young girl, 7-years-old, suffering from a rare, terrible and disabilitating birth defect known as *Pallister Killian Syndrome*.

Whilst lucky to be alive, PKS has left her completely helpless, defenceless, disfigured and unable to walk talk play or enjoy any kind of life which most kids her age take for granted. Indeed eating solids, feeding herself or even sitting up or standing are currently beyond her abilities, and for Sofia 24-hr care is absolutely essential to life.

Her doting mum, _now herself a single-parent having tragically lost Sofia's dad and family breadwinner to Covid in 2021_, does everything possible, and often the impossible, to care for her growing daughter. But as Sofia grows in size and weight, at barely 5'2 herself, mum struggles more and more each passing day to lift Sofia from her pushchair and into her now undersized carseat, a taxing chore that gravity says will soon become a losing battle altogether. So, apart from your help with constant medical expenses, Sofia really really needs access to a *wheelchair-friendly* vehicle to get her to and from school, plus attend her constant barrage of costly medical vists and incessant therapy sessions. An obvious but expensive necessity for little Sofia which, along with many other inherent bills, is additionally burdened and currently funded solely by Sofia's ever-optimistic mum, struggling away and doing her best against all the odds on a simple modest part time income.

We are therefore using this campaign to help fund-raise for some of Sofia's day-to-day care, therapy, equipment and other special needs, as well as trying to help her mom raise the finance she so desperately requires to trade-in her beaten old car for a more practical and essential vehicle with a ramp and direct access for Sofia and her adapted wheelchair, making an otherwise simple task like getting from A to B possible for Sofia too.

Anything and everything you can do or afford will be greatly appreciated, whether it's a fiver or even a little more if you can spare it.
