Camp Smalltalk is a regularly held conference with seminars and workshops about Smalltalk, one of the greatest programming languages in history! The 2022 50th anniversary edition celebrates the language’s birthday at Xerox PARC in 1972. Hence, it's called Camp Smalltalk Supreme.
For this anniversary edition, we will be inviting keynote speakers like Smalltalk co-creators Adele Goldberg and Dan Ingalls, as well as Smalltalk pioneer Kent Beck. We will also be holding a celebration banquet for all presenters. And finally we will be giving away free swag to all attendees who come through the door.
The event is scheduled for June 10-12, 2022. We hope to secure funding by the end of 2021 so that we can begin arranging for flights and accommodation for the keynote speakers, ordering swag, reserving a restaurant for the banquet, and advertising.
