Camp Lorraine Tractor

Since the late 1960s, Vank Island has been hosting a youth camp known as Camp Lorraine. Thanks to the participation of Alaska Summer Camps, Camp Lorraine hosts a week long camp for those ages 8 to 16. Over the years, hundreds of campers have enjoyed this life-changing journey at Camp Lorraine.

Now, as Camp Lorraine grows we are in need of a new tractor. Our old tractor is on it's last legs. We rely on the tractor to haul campers and luggage up the beach. Since Camp Lorraine is on a remote island we also use it for other clean up projects around camp since we can't easily borrow equipment as there is nothing else on the island. Getting a new tractor means easier access camp for the campers and staff as well as being to complete improvement projects more easily.
