Camp G.L.O.W. Grenada 2018

This summer, Peace Corps Volunteers and their Grenadian Counterparts will be implementing Grenada’s seventh annual camp G.L.O.W. (Girls Leading Our World) for 35 secondary school girls in Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
During this week long sleep away camp, campers will attend workshops and activities designed to improve their leadership and critical thinking skills, learn how to start a community service project, discuss teen issues, learn about tertiary education and career opportunities and much more all in a fun and engaging manner. It is our hope that campers will use the skills and knowledge they learn to make a positive difference in their schools and communities.
Because we want to keep Camp G.L.O.W. free for our campers we need donations from people like you. We have to pay for room and board for campers and staff, transportation to pick up and drop off the campers including those from Carriacou, buy food to provide the campers with 3 healthy meals a day plus snacks, stationary and art supplies for the projects we do, and shirts and tote bags for our campers and staff.
