Camp Fire -John Brown
Donation protected
On Friday November 9 2018 the Camp fire roared through Paradise with hardly any warning
Columbia JC alumni and Chico St graduate John Brown barely made it out alive.
He and his mother weren't even under evacuation when the neighbors house started burning.
They only had time to get their dogs and load up a few personal items and as they drove off John could see his house burning in the rear view mirror.
Everything was gone in an instant.
After hours of driving figuring out their next move, they ended up in Redding. Staying in a hotel that allows dogs.
Unfortunately while walking the dogs.. Johns mom got the lease whipped out from underneath her as another dog walked past. She fell. Now she's in the hospital with a broken shoulder..
We're asking for help.
We need cash so he can stay at this motel long enough until his mom in released.
He also needs money for basic necessities.
They have home insurance. But that doesn't happen overnight
This has been devastating for a lot of people.
There's a long road ahead for the displaced
Please donate to help John.
