Cammi's spinal and lung Sarcoma cancer

Hi there my name is Sophie.

 

A lovely friend of mine, Jemma. In June 21 endured the worse possible nightmare any parent should face.

 

Her eldest daughter Cammi 10, had been complaining of arm pains previously. Two and throw with the doctors, nothing had come of it.

 

Until one morning Cammi couldn't stand on her own two feet. That then she was rushed to the hospital and scans reveled she had a large spinal tumour, that also had spread to her right plural space in her lung.

 

Jemma and Cammi were blue lighted to Leeds children hospital for emergency surgery. Which left Cammi with mobility impairments.

 

It was revealed that the tumour was a Sarcoma cancer.

 

Since then Cammi has undergone intense chemotherapy in Leeds. She has lost all of her beautiful curly hair. Her mobility and her childhood.

 

This is broken the family apart.

 

Jemmas husband Craig is doing his duty in Hull taking care her their two youngest daughters, Ronnie and Rea. While Jemma is up and down from Leeds with Cammi.

 

This week Cammi underwent another major surgery to remove more of the lung tumour. Understandably she is very unwell from this episode.

 

Already her little body has suffered so much and now she is planned to start intensive radiotherapy when recovering from this operation.

 

This family is ripped apart. A 10 year old child is in pain and suffering. A husband and wife trying to keep it together. Two young babies missing their mummy and big sister.

 

Even in their worst days this family still manage to smile and giggle.

 

Christmas is just around the corner and I just want to take a little less burden from them by raising a little cash. Making it something less for them to worry about.
