In July this year Myself, Glenn Cooper and 27 like minded family and friends will set off to trek Kokoda and raise funds and awareness for Soldier Welfare under the Cams Cause banner.
Cams Cause is a not for profit organisation established in 2014 by a tight knit group of friends to honour not just our great mate Corporal Cameron Baird VC MG, but also the 40 other Australian Service personnel that did not return home from Afghanistan.
100% of the money raised will go directly towards assisting Our Countries bravest in their mental and physical fight to find their post war normal.
So...as we lay safe in our beds tonight spare a thought, and some change for those who where trained to go to war - but not trained to come home.
