Camille Ball, beloved wife and mother

Donation protected
This fundraiser is for Camille Ball, who suddenly left this world on Thursday, May 12 2022.
Camille was an incredibly wonderful mother and wife. She was truly a friend to all. She had a smile that would brighten anyone's day, and had that rare quality of kindness. She also made the world's best mashed potatoes, and that is an indisputable fact. She was an incredible wife to Harold "Sleepy" Ball and an exceptional mother to Michael Ball. She was always there to help and support them, no matter how abusrd they may get. Though if they became too absurd, she was always able to gently reign them in. She was very slow to anger, and would never let us go to bed mad. Whenever she had a visitor, she would always make sure that their bellies were full and their hearts were light.
Camille is my mother, and I have created this fundraiser for her. Her passing was very sudden and very unexpected, and she did not have time to make any preparations. The past few months are tragic and I do not wish to delve to far into that part of her story. But it should be know that the medical system utterly failed her. She was seen by several doctors during multiple hospital visits, all of whom treated her case with a total lack of urgency or would postpone appointments to ridiculous dates. Yet, they still need to be paid for their disregard.
With this fundraiser, I hope to be able to help my Dad (her husband of 40 years) cover the costs of her cremation and medical expenses. After 84 years on this planet, he doesn't deserve any more worry. Mom would want for him to live life and to get some new stories to tell. And I know that when they are reunited once more, that she'll listen to all his new stories with that wonderful smile on her face.

If there is any surplus to this fundraiser, I also intend to donate a portion of it to our local aspca. Mom was especially fond of animals, and would care for any animal in need. Be it a sick bird that flew through our window, a raccoon that lost its way, or an abandoned dog that "followed" me home, they would all be cared for and nurtured.
Camille truly had a kind and caring soul, and the world was a better place with her.
