9. East Sussex National (Jul) - Cam Phillips Golf

Tournament Date 28 - 30th July
East Sussex National Golf Club has held some big events over the years including the European Open in 1993 and 1994.
Going into 2020 I had one goal in mind and that was to gain status on the Euro Pro Tour, playing through the 2 stages of Qualifying School.
Euro Pro is the only UK feeder Tour to the Challenge Tour. Some names like Louis Oosthuizen, Ross Fisher and Tyrell Hatton have progressed through Euro Pro where they have gone on to win multiple times on the European Tour.
My number 1 goal for next year is to place inside the Top 5 on the order of merit. This will gain me status for Challenge Tour for the following year. In order for me to achieve my goal I will have to play in all 15 tournaments including the Tour Championship which is the final tournament of the schedule. Euro Pro Tour is televised on Sky Sports for 90 minutes the week after the event.
Each Tournament is 3 days long and involves a cut after 2 days. There is also a Pro Am the day before each tournament where I could invite up to 3 people to join me to play - there would be an extra cost for each player though.
Financial support means I will be able to afford to play in all the Tour events plus pay for travel and accommodation. It will also ensure I have time between the events for practice and skill development.

Accommodation 5 nights = £300
Travel + Food = £220
