Dual Arm Mount'n Mover with Locking Tilt & Quick Release Plate for Colton Allen's Wheelchair
Please help us to raise this money so that Colton can continue his love of photography.
Colton was diagnosed with ALS in June 2008. He was 28 years old, and recently married. While he was going through the long process of diagnosis, Colton started learning photography as a creative outlet, and because he realized that if he ever wanted to do photography, it was or never. Colton has now been living with ALS for nearly 9 years, and through all that time, photography has continued to be a major passion in his life. Regardless of how his condition is affecting him, he continues to get out and take photos nearly every day. As the disease has progressed and Colton's strength and motor skills have diminished, he has had to continually adapt and adjust his gear and methods so that he can keep doing what he loves to do. Colton is wheelchair bound now, and has lost much of the use of his arms and hands. It is nearly impossible for him to take a photo now without assistance. This camera mount would allow Colton to regain some independence and give him back some control, and ultimately it will allow Colton to keep taking photos for as long as he can.
