Calais to Cape Finisterre

In order to raise £2500 for Refugee Action Kingston (RAK) and Bail For Immigration Detainees (BID), I will be walking 2500 kilometres from Calais to Cape Finisterre in northwestern Spain. Both these small, independent charities do incredible work, helping some of the most vulnerable people in our society have free access to quality legal advice and support which would otherwise not be available to them.
All the money that you kindly donate will be divided between the two charities. Though it may not seem like a large amount of money, anything that contributes to their continued financial independence is hugely beneficial to them.
Donations could be allocated to any number of projects or infrastructual improvements; helping to update the  communication system at RAK thereby enabling more effective correspondence between staff and clients, helping to fund English lessons for refugee families, or helping to partially fund a case launched by BID that could end a lengthy and unnecessary period of detention, to list but a few.
If you feel that this is a worthy cause please give whatever you can, as it all counts and is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.
