Caitlyn, was diagnosed with a Sertoli-lydeg cell tumor of the ovaries with Rhabdomyosarcoma in April 2017. At that time she was considered stage 1A, on October 27, 2017 they found another tumor that was much much larger than the first, and it was mostly liquid. At that point chemo had to start and she was on the PEI Regimen. She had to go under for 24 hours five straight days every 28 days for four cycles. Six months goes by and she was clean no signs of the tumors all of a sudden the tumor came back however at this one had changed as well it was completely liquid and they did not know because it showed up as a solid the surgeon goes in and discovered that it was all liquid and was heartbroken. More chemo at this time it was in the form of what they called highpec procedure. The surgery lasted eight hours at which time they I discovered that she had 33 small tumors all less to 3 cm in size they removed all of those and in the process they also had to remove 25% of her large intestine and 35 cm of her small intestine, and her right colon In the omentum, the omentum lines the inside of your stomach and protects your internal organs so it was a very serious and risky surgery and she made it through it which brings us to current day on April 1, 2019 they had found a small growth around 1.25 cm on April 29 they did another scan to confirm that it may be a tumor and it had grown five times that size on May 23 I take her into the emergency room do Excruciating back painAfter about six hours in the emergency room they come to me and tell me that her tumor has grown 3 to 5 times the size it was on April 29 so we get Admitted into the hospital and we had a meeting with all the doctors and some of the nurses that were involved in the surgeon walking into that room and seeing about 20 people sitting around the table was a tidbit intimidating yet also very scary. surgery was supposed to happen on 31 MayBut obviously with the current situation I got bumped up to much sooner it was the very next day surgery was expected to last approximately 14 hours however it only lasted five the surgeon came and talk to us afterwards telling us that the tumor had attached itself to direct him in the bladder as well as putting pressure on the liver kidneys and Uterine line To which she also proceeded to say that unfortunately she had to leave some of the disease there to keep from damaging her intestines so bad that she would end up with a colostomy bag, and to keep from damaging the bladder as well because she would’ve ended up in a Urine bag. She Hass to go under radiation because of the leftover disease on her rectum and on the bladder there’s so much uncertainty right now and she is not in a good spot she’s a fighter she never lost her smile once and she’s never let this get her down and she has never complained she has something to truly admire and will make a great lawyer one day she has been excepted into Stanford program for the Law program this summerEven in her worst times you asked her how she is doing and she would look at you and tell you I’m fine why do you keep asking she’s made the comment that she does not want to be defined by cancer or to be known as the girl who had cancer but she is known as my survivor and as my hero dad‘s are supposed to be little girls heroes not the other way around watching her over the last couple years have to go through what most grown people can’t even handle she’s my hero by far and always will I can’t wait till the day that I see her graduate college and become the lawyer she dreams about. Girl has been through more than most of you will ever go through tire life more than I ever wanted my little girl to have to go through it’s not fair the cancer showsNo prejudice

it is with a very sad and heavy heart that our precious baby girl Caitlyn Ren Stuart has passed away on Sunday August 18 2019 at 6:00 A.M she was surrounded by her mom and I (dad) as well as uncle Paul and sister Sierra and brother Tyler. Ren fought a long hard battle. She ovarcame so much, she left a legacy behind. Our daughter had the strength to fight like hell when most would have given up. She has touch so many life’s, Ren had goals of becoming a lawyer, she would have made a damm good one. Standford law sent her an invite to attend. I will forever miss my babygirl. Her hugs, her smile, her sassy ways. In many ways she taught me more than I thought she taught me strength, how to love and see people beyond their history or whatever the case. I loved her so very much, I can’t imagine life with out her. I’m not as strong as she was hate to say that but this is killing me. I find my self talking to her asking ? Sometimes I get a cold feeling all over idk if it is her or not but I like to think it is. I held her after coming in to the this world, and I held her when she passed with her mom on one side and i on the other. She was truly the most perfect person in my mind. But the battle took her to soon but but. Not with out all her mite. I’m so proud of you Ren. I wish you were here but I’ll always be with you no matter what. You were my 1 and only forever missing you.. till I see you again baby girl fly high with Stuart pride !
