Caitlin's Family Fund

Caitlin Ryvlin is a single mom to two beautiful children – Madrone, 8 yrs old, and Banyan, 6 yrs old.

She was a longtime resident of Marin County until last spring when she moved up to Sonoma to save money and to stay with family, after struggling to make ends meet for the last few years.
Caitlin was at the beginning of starting her own business in Sonoma as a birth and post partum Doula, and was excited to finally be able to get out from under her difficulties of the past few years.
Then she went ice skating with her kids, fell and shattered her left wrist!
Caitlin needed extensive reconstructive surgery for her wrist (that, as the doctor put it, had "exploded").
The surgery was Wednesday 12.6.2017
Caitlin doesn’t have health insurance but is in the process of applying, she is not getting un-employment, (she is working on that) and since she just started her own business, she had to let go of her new clients. Without the use of one arm, she needs help getting dressed and taking a shower, she’s not able to drive and it’s a challenge to cook or clean one handed! Some of the moms from school have stepped up and are picking up the kids and dropping them off - but with the holidays here, not to mention the medical costs that she is facing, it will be a challenge to cover gifts for her kids’ Christmas, buy groceries, or take care of bills right now.
Please let us show Caitlin that we, her community and beyond, care! That we can not leave her financially unsupported – let’s raise money for this amazing woman, so she can concentrate on healing and not have to worry about how to pay her bills and not having anything to give her kids for Christmas!
