Honduras has been ravaged by hurricanes Eta and Iota in November. Our CAFESMO farmers and fincas have suffered tremendous losses as well.
Entire rows of plants in many plantations were lost in mudslides and access roads are deteriorated or are entirely inaccessible.
While we are unable to replace the lost plants for the current harvest, we also need USD 15,000 to repair damages to our roads, half of which we hope to raise among friends and partners internationally. Without access to our fincas, our coffee cannot be processed, let alone shipped to origin.
We are very grateful for donations in any currency, no matter how big or small. Money goes a very long way where we live.
