CADS Fundraiser for roof repairs

COWBRIDGE AMATEUR DRAMATIC SOCIETY

Like many community groups the Covid-19 Pandemic has hit us hard. Forced to go 'dark' for the first time since the 2nd World War we were unable to stage any productions. Unfortunately as well as the usual bills and building maintenance we've experienced problems with our roof and whilst we've managed to cover the cost of temporary works to prevent further water ingress, we're now faced with roof repairs costing around £30,000!

We are of course in the process of urgently seeking grants but will need to raise some funds ourselves. We appreciate these are difficult times for so many but any donation, no matter how small, will help us.

For those not familiar with CADS and our home the Market Theatre in Cowbridge, we normally stage 3 productions a year and we also host visits from youth theatre groups, comedy and drama groups, professional groups staging plays from R&D to the finished production so we're a vital venue for arts in the area.
