Doral Red Rock Cadillac Project

We are Doral Academy Red Rock, a Nevada public charter arts integration middle and high school. Our National Art Honor Society students have been offered an exciting opportunity & we need your help to get there. 

Our students are being tasked with transforming eight classic Cadillacs into pieces of art showing the history of Carson City, Nevada. They will have several days to paint and decorate the cars, and the cars will go on display at the Silver Oak Golf Course.  Carson City leaders will be there, as well as the press. They will be guided by our wonderful art teacher, Gina Cifonelli.

Since this opportunity presented itself just recently, we have not had time to do any fundraising to  get the money to make this trip. Our school is in Las Vegas, and we would need to travel to Carson City. Costs for this trip would include hotel rooms, airfare, rental cars, art supplies, and food.  We have a dozen students who would be participating, along with two chaperones.

The event will be taking place April 5, so we are trying to get this ball rolling, and hopefully we can make this happen. The students are working on their ideas for the cars, and are SO excited to get started!

Your generous donations will allow our students to participate in this incredible opportunity, and they will forever be a part of Carson City history.
