Our friend and co-conspirator Bob Fass is gone. As we move forward in an America without the vital voice of our beloved Bob, we find ourselves searching for ways to support those closest to his big bear of a heart. Bob was famous for putting principle, the Radio Unnameable audience and “cabal” above personal reward, preferring working at WBAI as a volunteer to selling out and taking his following to the corporate media. As a result Bob died neither a rich man nor even a financially secure one. What he left were large medical bills and not even funds to pay for a headstone.
In this time, we ask that we may come together once again as a community to raise a glass, pass a joint, share a laugh and donate a dollar to help ease in this transition for his loving wife, Lynnie.
