Jade was found abandonded  in Northern Manitoba at the tender age of 9 weeks old.   We quickly noticed that Jade hind end 'wasn't quite right'.  X-Rays confirmed that she has a broken pelvis and both of her hip bones are fractured.  The injury was several weeks old when we found her.  She must have been in incredible pain...

She's a beautiful German Shep X, with a sweet, calm disposition.  Despite being thrown out like a piece of garbage, she loves people, other dogs and cats too!

Jade will need extensive surgery to help her live a normal, painfree life.  This surgery is upwards of $4500.  It cannot be performed until Jade's bones reach maturity (or close to it) to be effective.  

In the meantime we will be purchasing Jade a "dog stroller" so that she can go along with her loving family on walks to the park, through town etc.  She can only walk short distances herself now....and soon she'll be too heavey to carry.  But we want her to be able to experience as much of the world as she can until the time of her surgery.
Please help us raise funds for Jade's surgery, her 'dog cart' and her vet care until that point.
