Jeff's Cancer Fund
Many of you know Jeff as a loving friend, partner, coworker and, of course, father to 6-year-old, Pax. This past month, Jeff was diagnosed with colon cancer after several months of pain and uncertainty. He will have surgery to remove a portion of his colon in early November, and then begin a challenging process of recovery in the coming weeks and months. He will not know until after this surgery whether he will need continued treatment, like chemotherapy, or additional surgeries.
As a result of his illness, Jeff has been unable to work consistently at his position at Whole Foods, where he has been a loyal employee for over ten years. He has exhausted all of his paid time off, and will be applying for short term disability, but this will cover barely a portion of his medical bills, which will be immense and, unfortunately, likely continuous.
Through all of this, Jeff has remained a committed father and friend, but rising medical costs are approaching the point of being debilitating. If you are able to contribute, your donation will support him as he seeks treatment for his cancer, and help him cover his medical bills.
Thank you for considering donating.
