Dear family and friends:
As you are aware, recently, Theresa was diagnosed with Cancer, which has spread throughout her body. The journey to health and healing for Theresa began on July 12th when she had surgery to remove the tumors on her spine that were causing loss of feeling in her legs. In late July, she started radiation treatment on her spine where they removed the tumors and to the tumors on her lung and in her shoulder. She got her next plan of action on August 7th, which as of right now, any further chemo would just do more damage to her body then good.
As you can imagine, this is an overwhelming time and there are many concerns both financially and otherwise: physical and occupational therapy is needed to address the feeling she lost in her left leg. Once she conquers this she can come home!! To be with the ones she loves and at a place she loves, this will keep her positive and comfortable.
Theresa has had MUCH love and support from friends and family, near and far. Knowing her loved ones are here for her has helped in her healing process tremendously! But with that, she still needs YOUR love and support! WE ARE AIMING TO TAKE THERESA ON A HAPPY FAMILY VACATION, where no worries exist :) No donation is too small. If for whatever reason, we can't make it on a trip, the money will help with the financial strain.
