Rallying for Ryan!!

Ryan suffered a heatstroke after falling asleep in his car on 6/12. He was taken to Methodist University for care and remained on a ventilator and sedated for over a week. Neurologists and Pulmonologists stated he would not wake up after needing to remove the ventilator. The decision was made to donate his organs on Monday 6/20. Ryan was extubated on 6/22 and instead of his body giving up, it got stronger. And stronger. And stronger!! Ryan WOKE UP!! The doctors and staff call it nothing short of a miracle. As of 6/23, Ryan is awake, responsive, and answering questions and voicing what he needs. He still has a LONG road to recovery and will more than likely be in the hospital for weeks to come to help his body get stronger and undergo therapy. This GoFundMe is being created to help with bills while he’s in the hospital, as well as the medical bills he will be getting from this extended stay and care at MUH, and the physical therapy he will be needing.
