Medical bills

As most of you know, on Father's Day, I took my husband to the emergency room, with flu like symptoms. They performed a spinal tap on him, and the diagnosis was viral meningitis. I didn't know much about this, but was relieved it wasn't a stroke. Little did I know, a stroke would have been far easier to deal with. By the next day he had no idea where he was, or who he was. He was a nightmare. The next day he was put in the neuro ICU unit, and that's when we learned he also had encephalitis. Just the beginning of a new nightmare. His brain continued to swell to the point it shifted 2 inches. On Friday the neuro surgeon came in and said we have to go to emergency brain surgery. If he didn't relieve the pressure in his head, he was going to die, and even then he couldn't promise me that he would make it through surgery, but he did!! He has fought for every breathe, and with everything he has in him.  He started improving some everyday, and continues to improve. We have both been out of work now, since he was admitted, and bills and medical bills are piling up, and it's a bit overwhelming for me to handle. He will recover, but it's going to take a little time, but until then, I have done all I know to do, and just need some help. Any little bit will go along way and will be so appreciated. Thank you so much in advance, and we love each and every one of you.
