Gabe's Medical Reconstruction Journey

On 11/2/2019 Gabe was at a BBQ and bonfire with some friends, enjoying the evening after a day of dirt bike riding. Later that evening 3 people unfamiliar to Gabe showed up showed up and ended up violently attacking him. The men that did this to him are being sought by the police but due to them crossing state lines it will be a bit of a challenge to get them arrested and properly charged for the damages caused. Gabe will soon need facial reconstruction surgery to repair his eye sockets that are currently severely shattered & nose as it is very broken as well. He has bleeding in the cornea of both his eyes, and it is up in the air on what that will entail. We will know more about that part of the process in about 4 weeks so the doctors can see if the bleeding subsides or not. As long as the bleeding subsides, there may not be permanent damage to his vision but that will be unclear for sure for quite some time into his recovery. Gabe is currently being cared for at home with family until the doctors feel he is ready for surgery. All love, prayers and positive vibes are SO appreciated and definitely not un-noticed. This is going to be a long road to recovery.
