Hey everyone,
My name is Talia London, I am Unangax (Aleut). I am one of few Native peoples pursuing my PhD. I am interested in finishing my PhD, so that I can eventually become a professor and support a Native teacher education program. Our people face many barriers to complete their degree and become certified teachers. We need more Native educators at our tribal and public schools! I hope to contribute to creating a thriving and equitable education system for our Native youth.
I am only 1 year away from completing my PhD, and I am trying to overcome one of many barriers that have been thrown my way: paying the remainder of my spring tuition bill. I currently owe $7,000 (which I do not have). I would love your support paying this bill. Any amount will help.
