Beefy ~ Deer Park Rescue

Beefy was a neglected dog who came to our attention while we were working to capture an elusive stray named Molly, in Deer Park WA.  Diane and I volunteer in our community to help dogs like Molly and Beefy.
Beefy was Molly's best friend and his owner allowed Beefy to roam the streets with Molly.  We asked if we could take Beefy and get him into a rescue where he would have a chance at a better life.  We are searching for a good placement for Beefy and would love to find him a forever home through a rescue.  But for now we are trying our best to give him the life he deserves.  Beefy's has required several trips to the vet's.  He had sores from porcuppine quills in his mouth and muzzle, ear infection and was underweight when we got him.  He just received a positive result on his Giardia test.  We are having to pay a pet sitter to come in twice a day to give him a potty break during work days.  He still needs to be neutered.  A donation/ expense report has been created and is available along with updates on Beefy by going to Molly's Facebook page.   As of 7/26/14 we have raised $310.00 in donations /  our expenses are over $1014.00
