Allisons Recovery: Medical Care
Donation protected
Allison's life was forever changed when she was involved in a devastating car accident on July 19th, 2014. Allison and her family now have an insurmountable wall of medical bills, and we hope to alleviate some of the monetary burden for them. Her spinal cord swelled leaving her unable to feel her arms and everything below. She was rushed into emergency surgery to reduce swelling that could possibly suffocate her. Allison, or Allie as her friends and family call her then had to fight through three hours of touch and go surgery. Suffocating wasn't the only obstacle Allison had to overcome, there were also life threatening blood clots in her neck that could have caused a massive stroke. Miraculously, she made it through surgery. The following week Allison shocked and inspired, recovering arm movement and breathing on her own, faster than expected. Later that same week she woke up and was told by doctors she would never walk again, in true Allie fashion she doesn’t believe that for a second. As a recently graduated Education major she hoped to help her future students become better people. If we can provide her the right recovery through donations, there is no telling how many people she will touch paying it forward. Please help us; help Allison to make this world a better place to live.
