Hello. We are reaching out on behalf of our dear friend and colleague Jeorgetta. She was diagnosed with breast cancer five years ago, fought the battle and won.
But sadly, the story continues.
Until June 2013, Jeorgetta remained cancer free and lived a normal — and very grateful life. In June of last year she was struck again by this horrible disease and was diagnosed with neuro-endocrine lung cancer that already had metastasized by the time it was found. In December 2013, she fractured her femur as a result of the very strong chemotherapy treatments, which had weakened her bones.
As Jeorgetta followed the medical protocol prescribed, doctors found more cancer. This time they diagnosed breast cancer in her bones. She continued with the Western medical treatments, which landed her in the hospital on more than one occasion, and struggle with the treatments that by now were destroying her body, mind, soul and spirit.
With her strength waning, she searched for other options and found an amazing naturopath doctor, who has been treating Jeorgetta since May. Fortunately, there have been no more hospital visits! A strong and willful woman, Jeorgetta maintains that no one is putting an expiration date on her! She continues to grow stronger day by day. She has gone from being wheelchair bound, to a walker, to a cane, and walked into the doctor’s office yesterday on her own. The transformation has been amazing.
Jeorgetta is an inspiration to all those who come in contact with her. Not only has she transformed physically, her spiritual growth shines so brightly from within and touches all those she comes in contact with. God has truly touched her heart and life in the most amazing way and she extends that to all those around her.
The terribly unfortunate part of naturopath treatments is that most insurance companies do not recognize providers as medical doctors and so they offer little to no reimbursement. Sadly, her insurance carrier is in the no reimbursement category. For those of you who have gone this route for treatments, you know it can be quite expensive. Jeorgetta is in this battle to win it, but needs financial help to continue these treatments that have transformed her. We look to all those who are fortunate enough to know this wonderful, caring, loving amazing woman; those who have known or worked with her; and those who don’t know her personally, but have the compassion to want to help.
