Taylor Harris

This fundraiser was created to be an easier way of donating and raising money for Taylor Harris. 

 Taylor has been dealing with severe PCOS and Endometriosis for awhile now. She has been in a significant amount of pain. Several months ago she underwent a laparoscopic procedure to potentially remove an ovary and see what was going on. There was so much inflammation, cysts, and adhesions at that time that they were only able to drain a cyst. It was decided that the best option at that time would be doing 3-6 months of Lupron shots, which is a chemotherapy drug used to medically induce menopause. The goal of this was to prevent things from getting any worse, and hopefully decrease some inflammation in order to do another laparoscopic procedure to remove an ovary.

Thursday, June 4th, 2020 Taylor went in for her outpatient procedure after 6 months of Lupron shots. The surgeon ended up having to make an open incision after finding nodules laparoscopically. Upon further inspection, it was decided that Taylor would have to undergo a total hysterectomy. The surgeon also removed a softball sized mass from her abdomen and her appendix. Several tissue samples were sent for pathology. Heartbreakingly, preliminary results show that Taylor may possibly be diagnosed with Low Grade, Ovarian Cancer. We are still waiting on final pathology.
She will have to start chemotherapy in a couple weeks after she has healed from this surgery
