Silo's Medical Fund

Silo (nicknamed 'Skid') is a 10 week old kitten who was resuced by an IAR volunteer from the middle of 15-501 in Durham during rush hour traffic. He is believed to have been hit by a car as he was seen dragging himself across the busy lanes into the median. 

Silo has a broken femur that was severly displaced and also has many lacerations all over his body. He underwent emergency surgery to place three pins in his femur in hopes that it will heal over the next several weeks.

We are raising money to help with his expenses including his surgery, x-rays, and medication. 

So far, Silo is enjoying being indoors where he gets yummy food and tummy rubs! He is slowly putting his weight on his leg but has a long way to go before he will be a normal active kitten. Silo will be available for adoption once he has healed.
