Heart Procedure

Hello, My name is Heather Mitchell.  I am a proud Momma to 5 amazing kids and a grandmother to one amazing grandbaby. Last year, my family and I moved to Converse Texas, a big change from “the biggest little city”- Reno, NV.  After we settled into our new town and home, I discovered I would need a potentially life-saving procedure. 
 
I initially had open heart surgery when I was 21 for an atrial septal defect.  Due to the initial surgery, there is now a weakened chamber in my heart that needs to be cauterized. The weakened chamber is causing my heart to beat irregularly, too frequently, which could eventually result in a heart attack.
