Jeanette's Transplant Fund

My name is Jeanette Besch. I am a single mother of a 7 year old little girl named Daisy. She is the light of my life. I am blessed each day to wake up and teach her how to be a kind, strong, loving, and caring little lady of faith. There are days I struggle harder than others as I battle with a hereditary disease called Poly Cystic Renal Kidney Disease. In short this leads to kidney failure. I am on a journey that I never thought I would be on. It is important for me to show Daisy how Mommy needs to keep providing her with love, faith, and security as I go thru this challenging part of my life. She doesn't fully understand what I am going thru, but she is there for me to cuddle when I feel bad, help me when I have my sick days, and wants to heal my broken body. I have the toughest year ahead of me. My kidneys are currently functioning at 28%. This makes me extremely tired, and I have cysts that burst which cause me unbearable pain and many hospital visits. I am in stage 4 kidney failure. An 8% loss will put me on the kidney transplant list, at 15% function I will start dialysis. My doctor said this next year will be the hardest of my life. This is a hill I will climb and will cheer once I hit the top. I count my blessings each day on this journey. My faith is stong, I have a wonderfully supportive family who is helping me as much as they can, and an incredible employer who is allowing me to care for my illness which requires a lot of time off. I have recently run out of paid time off. My Mom has been a God send, in that she has been working 2 jobs to help support Daisy and I. I am so thankful for her. I am reaching out as this next year will be tough on me physically and financially. I have not been able to work as many hours, and my insurance only covers so much of all the medical bills that are starting to get overwhelming.
