Sketching London

I am pleased to announce that I have been asked to accompany the Georgia Boy Choir on its tour to England July 18 - August 4th of this year. I will be acting as Artist-in-Residence to the Choir-in-Residence at St. Paul’s Cathedral. I and the Artistic Director and Conductor David R. White have been lifelong friends and share an appreciation of beauty (and corny puns) and have long sought opportunities to collaborate in our respective fields. While in England with the choir, I will be constantly sketching everything from the bucolic English countryside, the magnificent skyline of London, and all the quaint villages in between. Upon my return, I will be selecting sketches and creating a rare limited edition of original reduction method linocuts from these drawings. All sketches, watercolors, sketchbooks and linocuts will be completed and delivered by Christmas 2014. Please be sure to leave your mailing address when ordering.

P.S. My original thinking for the $40 reward "Watercolor Reproduction" was that it would be a "selected" watercolor, i.e., my own selection of the watercolor I liked best, but I think what I'll do once I arrive home is post pictures of the water colors to supporters so you can let me know which one you want and I will send it to you.
