Claudia Hook WE GOT THIS

If you don't know Claudia or her story here it is (the brief version)

Claudia is a 12 year old going into her 8th grade year at walker middle school. She started having headaches right before summer break started. The headaches turned into mirgraines, they were so bad that she was unable to participate in her usual active lifestyle, softball, swimming, basketball, ect. The mirgraines continued, her mom, Jennifer, took her to multiple doctors trying to figure out what was causing this constant pain. In the beginning of July the family finally got answers. Claudia had a tumor in her brain and needed immediate surgery. She was taken up to doernbechers where they proceeded with the surgery. The next day after surgery she was walking and eating! She was even telling jokes! She felt so much better instantly because she no longer had a migraine! A week later they found out that the tumor that was removed was cancer and that she would need treatment to kill the cancer cells. This week, Claudia had another surgery to implant her Hickman, which they will use for her treatment. I have never seen such a brave, sweet, courageous 12 year old in my life. She is truly an inspiration. This account has been set up to help the family with everyday expenses. Gas, food, bills, ect. Claudia is an amazing fighter! She is nothing but positive and after her diagnosis she looked at her mom and said "We got this!" She's right! WE GOT THIS! Let's show our support to her and her family!
