If you don't already know her this is Marigold. Marigold is one of our piggies here at Broome Animal Sanctuary. She came to us from the Erie County SPCA a little over a year ago. She is a mixed breed Hampshire.
As if our girl didn't already have more than her fair share of health issues now she has developed cracks in her hooves that is going to require her to be transported 3 hours away to Cornell University for medical care. The cracks have traveled up to what is the equivolent of a human's quick and is causing her much pain.
Between the cost to transport her 3 hours away, the procedure and her stay we are anticipating the cost to be a bit hefty. We are reaching out to our supporters and donors for help. Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated and please share this link with your family and friends.
