Please help Maximo Colon fight against Lymphoma

Hello, my name is Amy and I'm fundraising for my best friend, Max. Max resides in the Dominican Republic and is diagnosed with Stage 3 B-Cell Lymphoma – a fast-growing (high-grade) form of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He noticed a lump on his neck and went to get it checked in August 2022. During this month, Max's lumps began to increase. He has since had two surgeries, had to be admitted, and received three blood transfusions. His health is debilitating, and he has been out of work since August due to his illness.

Max is 35 yrs old, and I can only describe him as a selfless, compassionate, tenderhearted, and giving person. "He'll give you the shirt off his back type of guy." He has always been there for my family, and I consider him a brother. Anyone that knows Max knows he is a kindhearted person that will help you anytime. He often goes the extra mile to give a helping hand. Starting next week, he will begin an aggressive chemotherapy regimen to try and get himself into remission. Due to the effects of the chemotherapy and treatments, he will be unable to work and, unfortunately, doesn't have full medical insurance coverage as he goes through this trying ordeal. Funds raised from this will go directly to Max's recovery, treatments and expenses that will be needed along the way.

Anything will help, or even just sharing. Anything to get the words out for a helping hand will be sincerely appreciated.

Hola, mi nombre es Amy y estoy recaudando fondos para mi mejor amigo, Max. EL reside en República Dominicana y fue diagnosticado con linfoma de células B en etapa 3, una forma de linfoma no Hodgkin de rápido crecimiento (alto grado). Notó unos crecimientos en el cuello y fue a que lo revisaran. En agosto de 2022, durante este mes, comenzaron a aumentar y su salud a deteriorarse. Desde entonces ha tenido dos cirugías, y tuvo que ser admitido y recibido tres transfusiones de sangre. Su salud es debilitante y ha estado sin trabajo desde Agosto por razones de enfermedad.

Max tiene 35 años y vive solo con su madre anciana....Puedo describirlo como una persona compasiva, tierna y generosa.. Siempre ha estado ahí para mi familia y para mí es un hermano. Nosotros los hemos ayudado hasta ahora pero los costos son muy altos. Cualquiera que conoces a Max sabe que es una persona de buen corazón que ayudará en cualquier momento desinteresadamente. A partir de la próxima semana, comenzará un régimen de quimioterapia agresivo para tratar de entrar en remisión. Debido a los efectos de la quimioterapia y tratamientos, no podrá trabajar y, desafortunadamente, no tendrá una cobertura de seguro médico completa mientras atraviesa esta terrible experiencia. Los fondos recaudados de esto irán directamente a la recuperación, los tratamientos y los gastos que se necesitarán en el camino.
