Maegen's Treatements for TBI

Two years ago Maegen suffered a Truamatic Brain Injury (TBI) due to a horrific auto accident.  Over the last two years she has undergone mulitple surgeries and extensive rehabilitation.  Late last year we were introduced to Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).  The medical/insurance community view this as still experimental, despite the amazing success document using this therapy for TBI.  That said, all expenses for us to provide this treatment for Maegen is "out of pocket".  We were able to fund the first round of treatments, but now we are looking for additional funding to assist with the second round and future treatments.  Doctor and other experts told us that Maegen would remain in coma and best case, a vegtible.  Just after the first round of treatments, Maegen is fully aware of her surroundings, she has a range of emotions - including smiling on a regular basis, and she show signs of wanting to communicate vocally and with gestures.  Any assistance is greatly appreciated as we strive to improve this young woman's quality of life.
