Little Miss AKA Scholarship Pageant

Dear Family, Friends & Sorors:
Loren is currently, a rising 2nd grader at Charlotte Christian School in Charlotte, NC. It is her desire to attain the title of Little Miss AKA for the Alpha Lambda Omega Chapter scholarship pageant. We are soliciting your help in helping her to achieve her goal . Alpha Lambda Omega scholarship recipients are awarded generous collegiate scholarships throughout the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area to deserving students that meet the criteria. Loren will also be a scholarship recipient of a portion of the proceeds that she raises. Loren's great-grandmother (Ivy beyond the wall), great-aunt ( Silver), and mother are all members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. As a family we promote the service mission and vision of the Sorority and are delighted that Loren is participating in this event.
Loren truly has a philanthropic spirit and genuinely cares about helping others. She most recently shared with her family that she is interested in becoming a missionary when she is older. She has participated in multiple homeless food drives, and is learning to become an active "doer" not just "hearer" of the word. Loren has also planned to have a birthday toy drive for those that are less fortunate for her 8th birthday. Instead of receiving gifts, she intends to share gifts. We are thankful and constantly moved by her choices and joyful spirit. She is most often described by her teachers and friends as joyous, talented, smart, kind-hearted and a natural leader.
The opportunity to showcase her talents, attain her goal, build her character and promote her self-esteem is priceless. We hope you are willing to help foster her spirit of giving and will lead by example with your contribution.
