Harvey Relief - Floridia-Castro

We have had so many friends come to assist with their bare hands as best as they could and the love has been just amazing. Communities, strangers, families coming together to help in any way they can <3



Hurricane Harvey is 4 days in and still pouring down on Houston.... our families entire neighborhood is underwater. Blackhawk Blvd, Whittier Oaks along with direct surrounding areas will be our main focus. We have elderly, disabled, children under 3, as well as several family members that have lost everything.  We are not able to assess the damage until things settle down more. (Hopefully, the water will recede by Saturday and we can start to assess). We will be traveling down to help the clean up and are accepting donations of all sorts to help these families. The goal is to open the back of the truck for the neighborhood to use while they are going through their belongings and trying to clean up and salvage. :(

Large ziploc bags
Dehumidifier

Clothing, underwear
Blankets



All the items will be dispersed to the families on Whittier Oaks drive, the entire road is under water. These families along with ours are looking at a complete rebuild and will need anything they can to clean up while waiting on insurance and reps to come assess the damage.
