Heart transplant

Please help this father of seven children survive in his time of need. He has raised four children and fostered three more, working two jobs to put a roof over their heads and food on the table. My dad would never ask for help from anyone, but he needs imediate help with mounting medical bills, his medication alone is very expensive not to mention the cost of food, transportation,gas,rent and the threats from power companies shutting off his life support when he is late on his bill,yes its true! Just six months ater he purchased our house he had a major heart attack and died in route to the hospital,they shocked him and put four stents in him,he was out of work for six months and returned to his job as a mental health counsler,four months latter he had another heart attack and was again rushed to the hospital, this time they implanted a defibrillator and fixed two stents that collapsed. Just when he thought he hit rock bottom the bank foreclosed on our house and repossessed our car. Eight months later after my mom found an apatment and bought a cheap car, my dad was rushed to the hospital again, this time my dad was given six months to live or have what is called a LVAD implanted ,a atrificial heart to keep him alive until they can find a heart transplant.He is currently on the heart transplant list and is waiting and hoping for that phone call to come soon. We want our dad to live, to see his grandchildren grow and spend the rest of his life smiling as they play. He has worked tirelessly his whole life helping others first as a service member in the Navy then working with the devolopmemtlaly disabled and the mentally ill.I only ask that you help him through this terrible time in his life,help make the depression go away,give him the chance to live.We are not rich or even middle class,he lives day to day and still wants to help others who are going through the same hard times he faces.Every penny helps and will be used for medication ,hospital expences,food and gas to grt him to Tufts medical center and Truesdale hospital for his treatments. This is a life long condition and he will need more in the future but we live in the hear and now,day to day.Please give what you can and God bless you all ! Katie Duczkowski.
