Help Jessica Butler Beat Cancer- #CancerGoDing

In August of 2018 I felt a huge mass in my right breast and decided to have a mammogram done in October 2018 at Lucayan Medical in Freeport, Bahamas.  I got a call from the technician confirming that something was found and was advise to come in to have an ultra sound of the breast done. In November I went in, did the ultra sound and was told that there was an area of concern and that I needed to have an MRI done. As there was no where in Freeport to have it done, The Dr. that did the ultra recommended Baptist Health in Miami Florida and provided me with a referral and images to take with me. In January 2019, my husband and I left Grand Bahama and travelled to my sister In Florida to have the MRI done. I did the MRI ( Thursday January 10th) and was told that it was urgent that I came in the very next morning for a Biopsy and that I would get some one the results in 24hrs
on Saturday January 12th, I got call from my Dr confirming that the tumor was malignant and that it was indeed cancerous. WHAT A BLOW! But God is still great. A PET Scan revealed that it was Stage 2, Triple Positive Invasive Ductal Carcinoma my Dr wanted to begin treatments immediately as he deemed that the cancer was aggressive based on the  size at the time of the PET Scan from the initial image (mammogram in October). On February 24th, 2019 I came back to the US and the rigorous process began. Test after test after test was done for the first few weeks. It was the recommended that I have 6 cycles of chemotherapy and surgery (double mastectomy with reconstruction). 
So I am now in the process of having those treatments done. I attend Drs every week sometimes twice week between Chemo, blood test Echos Doppler’s etc.
