Carol’s Journey

Less than two years ago, Carol’s life changed forever. With a diagnosis of breast cancer, she began her journey through chemo and radiation with an eagerness to beat the cancer and continue to watch her two children grow. She showed an incredible amount of strength and resilience as she continued to work as a nurse, raise her children and battle cancer.

Unfortunately, the cancer metastasized to Carol’s brain, and while she battled brain cancer, it metastasized again to her liver and bone.

Carol passed away on January 11, 2023; leaving a loving husband and two children not only the grief of losing their wife and mother, but an insurmountable amount of medical bills accrued during her two year battle with cancer.
