It takes a Village

Thank you for visiting my page. I must tell you how difficult it is for me to do this. As a single mother working 2 jobs and raising a medically fragile child I am used to carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders with an "It will be ok. I will find a way to make it work." As I cried yesterday to a dear friend, I was reminded that it is necessary to ask for help. "As an ICU nurse you have dedicated your life to helping people, now you need to let people help you, " so here we are. For the last year and a half I have really struggled with my health. The most recent struggle being surgery to remove a tumor along with the right lobe of my thyroid. I also had a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. The plan was to be out of work for 2 weeks. So I worked many extra shifts, long, hard shifts to put money away for the missing pay check. Unfortunately, complications have arisen and I am still out of work and back in the hospital. All of my bills are due again and I've paid what I can. I am at risk of loosing my car, and being evicted, having my electric, and water shut off, loosing my car insurance and my medical insurance (even with medical insurance my medical bills are insane) etc. My 7 yr old daughter is on a swim team and loves it. Aside from her event, she has needs like any other child. Her father is not in her life and now she's afraid she's going to loose her mother. She needs to be able to go to her state swim meet. She has worked so hard for it, not to mention swimming helps with her health issues. My family has assisted me as much as they can so now I turn to you. They say it takes a villiage to raise a child and no mother can or should be an island. I am asking if you will please be my village. Any donation is much appreciated as well as prayers.
