Wildfires
Donation protected
Some of you may know that our family has property in Twisp, in direct line of wildfires. We will be heading that way later this week to check out the damage. The community has always been so wonderful to us and they are desperately in need. They are without power and will be for several more weeks. No power also means no pumps to run their wells, so no water. Phone lines are also down. I have contacted a community leader who is coordinating donations and seeing that they are distributed to those who need them. Many people have lost everything, others are displaced due to evacuations, and some are in their homes with no resources. I am asking you friends and family, to please support this community that means so much to us. I do not want to show up empty handed to this devastation. I am asking you to donate funds or supplies and I will deliver them directly to the donation station. I plan on going to costco and loading up on batteries, water, over the counter medicine, toiletries, snacks, nonperishable food, paper plates, and anything else that seems it might help. If you have any items I will gladly take them. This seems the best way to reach everyone fast and convinently...... So please, here is our chance to help. I am not setting a goal, I will spend as much as I can and anything left will be directly donated to the victims of this nasty wildfire. Also, none of these donated funds are for my family..we are lucky to have homes to come home to. Thanks friends and family.
